Laurie Boyd, Administrative Assistant
With a background in emergency services, Laurie Boyd joined the accounting world earlier this year with the Arline & Wiggins team in Hinesville, where she assists with administrative support. Originally from Michigan, Laurie moved to Hinesville two years ago to be with her expecting daughter whose husband had been deployed.
Prior to working in accounting, Laurie worked as a 911-dispatch operator and supervisor and also as a patient advocate. She holds certifications in Emergency Medical Dispatch, Hazmat, FEMA and active shooter training, and also serves as a director at the National Severe Weather Network in their communications division. She says what she likes best about working at Arline & Wiggins is the family environment and the fact that there aren’t daily life-threatening situations!
Laurie is a proud grandmother to five grandchildren, three girls (two are twins) and two boys, and her favorite hobby is being a self-proclaimed weather geek!
